Privacy & cookies
This page is limited to factual website and Google Analytics disclosures. It is not a complete or approved Saltrock privacy policy. The marked placeholders need company confirmation and qualified legal review.
Draft updated: 14 October 2026.
This website and contact form
This is an informational website with a contact form and no user accounts. If you submit the form, your name, email address, optional company and message are sent to the website's server to handle your inquiry. Please do not include passwords, account numbers or other sensitive information.
The delivery integration is configured for Resend. Once enabled, submissions are passed to Resend and delivered to Saltrock's designated contact inbox, where the relevant email provider processes them. The recipient address and delivery credentials are kept in server-side configuration. The application does not save messages to its own database, browser storage or application logs. Hosting and email providers may retain request or message records under their settings; those settings and retention periods need company review.
The contact endpoint uses short-lived, instance-local counters keyed by a hash of the available request IP address to limit repeated submissions. These counters expire after ten minutes and are not a shared or permanent record. Hosting providers may process request information such as IP addresses, URLs, timestamps and browser headers to deliver and protect the site. This repository is configured for Vercel; account-level logging, access and retention settings have not been verified.
The contact form page does not load Google Analytics, even if you have accepted analytics elsewhere. The application does not send form entries to Analytics.
Optional Google Analytics
The website offers optional Google Analytics measurement to understand visits and improve the site. Google's tag is blocked until you select “Accept analytics.” Selecting “Reject analytics” keeps it blocked. The website remains usable either way.
If you accept, Google Analytics may receive page visits, browser/device information, approximate location and cookie-based identifiers. Google receives network information when a connection is made. This does not mean that the resulting data is anonymous.
The website's tag configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalization, and keeps advertising consent denied. The configured page-view event excludes URL query strings and fragments and sends only the origin of an available referring URL. Google Analytics property-level settings still require company review.
Google describes its processing in its Privacy Policy and information about partner sites.
Cookies and your choices
- Choice cookie:
saltrock_analytics_consentrecords your analytics choice, notice version and choice time for up to 180 days. It does not contain your name or email address. Both acceptance and rejection are remembered. - Analytics cookies: cookies such as
_gaand_ga_…may be used after acceptance. The website configures an expiry of up to 180 days without renewal on each page load. Browser behavior can shorten this period.
You can reopen Cookie settings at any time. Rejecting after acceptance disables Analytics, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page to unload Google's code. It does not delete information previously received by Google. Browser Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals keep optional analytics off in this implementation.
Choosing not to allow cookies or disabling JavaScript does not authorize analytics. Local development and preview hostnames are excluded from production measurement.
Analytics is off until your choice is checked.
